Is the declaration of bankruptcy in Canada “confidential” information?
Question by SALEEM: Is the declaration of bankruptcy in Canada “confidential” information?
Sounds be fond of a weird question but I am wondering if in Canada (Ontario specifically) – if a person was to declare private bankruptcy, can this information be establish out from official sources? For model, if a not-for-profit Charity has a clause including the intention of its Older Directors can not be in office if they be inflicted including declared private bankruptcy, and one has a “thought” including the intention of one of the directors is in this situation but he does not want to reveal this fact for private reasons, is there a fund one can go to find out if the person has claimed bankruptcy?

Absolutely it is public information. If you seek to be inflicted including your debts absolved, you can’t expect to do so privately.
